A Decline in Tort Lawsuits

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal reports that data collected by the National Center for State Courts reveals a decline of tort lawsuits. According to the article, fewer than 2 in 1,000 people filed tort lawsuits in 2015 compared to 10 in 1,000 in 1993.
