Alabama Lawyers Gain Free Access to Trust and Billing Software through Smokeball & the Alabama State Bar Partnership

Alabama State Bar is partnering with Smokeball to empower ASB members with cutting-edge software to enhance client service and compliance.  

Montgomery, AL — September 23, 2024 - Smokeball, the industry-leading legal practice management software platform, is partnering with the Alabama State Bar (ASB) to provide all ASB members with free access to Smokeball Bill, Smokeball’s trust accounting and billing software solution. This platform supports solo and small legal practitioners in effectively, efficiently and compliantly managing their client trust accounts for improved client service.  

Smokeball and the ASB share a belief in the important role solo and small law firms play in every local community. However, many of these firms face difficulty with handling trust accounting and billing compliantly. In fact, the 2023 State of U.S. Small Law Firms Report found that software for case management, legal research and e-billing/invoicing are some of the biggest technology needs for law practices.
