A Big Update on Smokeball’s Season of Giving Back

This week marks the halfway point of Smokeball’s fourth annual Season of Giving. We’re excited to provide you with a midway update, and some big news on our progress. 

This year, we’re partnering with Howard Brown Health, which serves LGBTQ+ Chicagoans, and Equip for Equality, which works to support the human and civil rights of children and adults with disabilities in Illinois. For every new Smokeball demo booked through Nov. 30 (Giving Tuesday), we’re donating $100 to these charity partners. 

We also honored the commitment of 10 outstanding Smokeball paralegals, including Tracey L. Young, RP®, NYSCP, who has worked in various areas of law for more than 30 years. “One of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Tracey Young,” George La Marche told us when nominating Tracey. “From the first day of the opening of my law firm, Tracey has been someone I’ve relied on, to not only assist me with the handling of personal injury and criminal matters, but also to run the day-to-day operations of the office.” Congratulations to Tracey and our other honorees! 

The big news: 

Smokeball had initially committed to donating up to $30,000 to these two groups — the equivalent of 300 demos. But as of Nov. 17, we’ve booked 325 demos during the Season of Giving qualification period. 

So, here’s the exciting part. In the spirit of the season, the Smokeball team decided to remove our donation cap. Now, the sky’s the limit on how much we can help Howard Brown Health and Equip for Equality. If we book 600 demos, we’ll donate $60,000. If we book more … you get the idea!
